Dementia Cafe

The memory cafe is held at the surgery on the second Wednesday of each month from 10am-12pm. The Memory Cafe is for people with memory loss and the person who cares for them. The aim for the cafe is to provide a safe space to discuss issues around memory loss and to support both patients and carers. It provides an informal social gathering with the opportunities to meet others over a hot drink.

We aim to have a guest speaker at most sessions and we also have activities which can include reminiscing through music, singing, quizzes and raffles etc.

The cafe is free of charge but a donation towards refreshments is greatly appreciated.

Please see this new website developed by NHS England for any patients waiting for a hospital appointment, an operation or treatment. This includes average waiting times at the hospital and other useful advice. The website is updated weekly.
