IF YOU HAVE A FEVER, COUGH OR SHORTNESS OF BREATH (even if you have NOT travelled or have been in contact with someone who has) PLEASE DO NOT ENTER THE PRACTICE AND CALL US ON 01275 832 285 FOR TELEPHONE ADVICE FROM A CLINICIAN.

Our Doctors and Nurse Practitioners provide an emergency telephone advice line, so if you are looking for emergency advice only, please call the surgery between 2pm-4.30pm and leave your details and a brief summary of the problem. A clinician will return your call within 24 working hours. Please provide a telephone number where we can reach you between 9am and 6pm.

Nurse Practitioners

Our nurse practitioners are fully qualified to prescribe a very wide range of drugs, and can offer specialist advice on a range of chronic illnesses.

In addition, they provide a telephone advice service which enables patients to receive a advice and guidance over the telephone, without the need to visit the surgery. Patients who want to receive advice or guidance should ring the surgery and leave their message request, and their call will be returned during the same working day.

Please contact reception if you would like to consult with our nurse practitioners.

Treatment Room Nurses

In our treatment room, we have seven registered nurses, two healthcare assistants and a phlebotomist. The treatment room offers bookable appointments on each working day and these appointments may be booked via reception or by telephone.

Our phlebotomist will be available on an ‘open-clinic’ basis from 08:30 – 11:30 each morning, but please note that workers, fasters and frail patients can pre-book a routine treatment room appointment to receive a blood test.

Our Practice nurses also run a range of chronic disease management clinics and offer professional advice by appointment only. A list of the clinics which are offered can be found on our Clinics & Services page.
